Current Research and Scholarly Interests My research focuses on the molecular mechanisms driving cardiovascular development, disease, and regeneration. I am interested in basic cardiomyocyte biology, utilizing induced pluripotent stem cells for the in-vitro modeling of cardiovascular disorders, and using stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes for high-throughput drug screening/discovery.
