Current Research and Scholarly Interests Brain function, development and repair with emphasis on visual perception, visual pathway assembly and visual system regeneration to prevent and cure blindness.
Specific pathologic conditions we aim to understand and develop therapeutic strategies for include: traumatic brain injury, glaucoma, and disorders of developmental brain wiring, including Autism Spectrum Disorders and Williams Syndrome.
