Current Research and Scholarly Interests My laboratory studies the molecular events that lead to and sustain tumorigenesis in soft tissue tumors and epithelial cancers. We also have an interest in stromal reaction patterns in the microenvironment of cancer.

Current Research and Scholarly Interests My interest in cardiovascular precision medicine has two aims: (1) merging next generation sequencing (NGS) with iPS cell models in order to discover novel molecules that regulate cardiac development, disease, and drug response, and (2) developing multi-gene NGS assays for elucidating the DNA mutations that underlie cardiomyopathies, channelopathies, congenital heart disease, and sudden cardiac death.
